YouTube Creator Awards, commonly known as YouTube Play Buttons or YouTube Plaques, are a series of awards from YouTube that aim to recognize its most popular channels. They are based on a channel's subscriber count but are offered at the sole discretion of YouTube. Pallaso's YouTube award has 120,000 Subscribers with 27 Million views since April 24, 2011. It has certainly not been an easy journey as Pallaso real name Pius Mayanja is getting to celebrate this milestone one month short of ten years. |
Some of the videos that Pallaso's subscribers have loved are God Down Low that he did with Sheebah that has 2.3M views six years ago, Twatoba that he did with Nigeria's Davido, it has 1Million views as of six years ago. |

The last seven months have seen Pallaso become a 'problem' to the music industry through his latest songs like Malamu, Ani Oyo, What is Money and Nalonda Nemala. A Japanese artist going by her stage name Shona did a cover of Pallaso's Malamu song bringing in a whole new version of the song with her Luga-Japan flow which also boosted his views. His latest songs have done very well compared to the songs in the previous 9 years and now, a force to be reckoned with to the extent of his brother branding him the best artist of the year. Pallaso was also named the best according to Bebe Cool in his list and since numbers don't lie, his YouTube plaque is on the way, he chooses to celebrate it with all his 120k subscribers. It has been a year from the time artists were stopped from performing and many have kind of taken a back seat, but Pallaso is not among them. A week back, he released Sikyegomba featuring Guvnor Ace and DVJ Pofia. "Thank you everyone from my very first subscriber. Thank you YouTube for this award. It marks a major milestone in my career. I can't wait to receive it." Share
