Rich Gang Party is on to celebrate the legacy of the late Ivan Semwanga

It's about that time of the year when party goers will be flooded with all sorts of themed parties, but those not to miss out on are the Zari White Party and the Rich Gang Party.

The late Ivan Semwanga's half brother, King Lawrence told his ardent followers to save the (Dec 19) date. It's on that day that the Rich Gang President will be replaced. The late Ivan Semwanga loved chopping money and in the last few weeks, King Lawrence has been rehearsing that in night clubs down south, he can't wait to do the same while in Kampala. He is tipped to be the next Rich Gang President.

The Rich Gang Crew was comprised of Edward Kyeyune aka ED Cheune, King Lawrence and the late Ivan Semwanga as the President, but from the time of his passing in May this year, that slot has been vacant and there's no better time to fill it up than in December when their annual Rich Gang Party takes place.

This will be the 5th year this party is happening. Details of the location or which artistes will be performing on that day are still scanty, but what we know for now is that the December 19 is the day.

This is coming at the time when K-city is having to deal with a new tycoon who is fast assuming that space, he also threatens most of these guys as he has not waited for December to hit the city, he is already here and many have already done their X-mas shopping in October courtesy of this loaded lad going by the name of Bryan White.

Bryan White is playing the same game, but differently. He dishes out money to those with good ideas especially in Agriculture as opposed to the Rich Gang who chop money in bars when excited.

With Bryan White coming in as early as October and not showing any signs of giving up on his spending habits, it's left to be seen if the other groups that will be in the country to chop money for days will be worth talking about after the festive season.
