Assistant Superintendent of Police Gilbert Arinaitwe Bwana was on Friday arrested on allegations of raping a teenage girl in his vehicle at Nakawa, a Kampala suburb. The senior police officer who has a church in Makindye exchanged numbers with the girl after her mother had taken her to police for counselling. AdsAccording to the mother, the girl's performance was deteriorating as a result of unbecoming sexual desires, so she took her for counselling. The officer ended up being arrested after the counselling session that was taking place in the car did not seem to help the situation, it only made matters worse. Arinaitwe's marriage to Florence Nagawa, a lawyer was dissolved after she accused him of adultery.
