American rapper Kanye Omari West aka Ye is in Uganda at least for ten days to film final pieces to his latest Yandhi album that was supposed to be released on Sept 29, 2018, but postponed to November 23 which happens to be the Black Friday.

The reason for the postponement was to add scenes from none other than the Pearl of Africa, Uganda. This is coming, days after Jamaican-American Reggae singer, Tarrus Riley, released a song dubbed ‘Uganda’, it was shot by Swangz Avenue and from the few indications, chances are Swangz Avenue will still be working with the Kanye West crew on the Yandhi project.

The new album release date was announced by Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian West in a tweet dated October 1, 2018.

Kanye in an interview with TMZ further confirmed that in two weeks’ time, the American Rapper together with his family and crew will be travelling to Africa to add sounds that many have not heard before and concepts that people don’t talk about in his Yandhi album.

“I want to have my kids in the studio and have the mic in the open so you can hear nature while we are recording and so, we going to bring out the album on Nov 23 which is the Black Friday,” Kanye told TMZ.

Kanye announced that he was coming to Africa after Trump’s wife Melania Trump did so.

Kanye’s crew will be staying in an upcountry hotel that is yet to be revealed.
Meanwhile, Kanye West was on Thursday meeting US President at the White House clad in a red ‘Make America Great Again’ (MAGA) cap and for nearly 10 minutes, West spoke about prison reform, mental health, the 13th Amendment, and his love for the president.
