Tanzanian model cum actress was on Friday sentenced to one year in jail after being found guilty of possession of drugs. Diamond Platnumz ex was given the option of paying Tanzanian shillings 2Million which is the equivalent of of Ugx 3,277,000/- or be locked up for one year.

Diamond Platnumz ex-lover, Wema Sepetu, was on Friday sentenced to one year in prison after being found guilty for possession and use of illegal drugs.

Her co-accused Matrida Abas and Msigwa Angelina were acquitted.

The Kisitu Resident Magistrate's Court gave Ms Sepetu an option of paying a fine for the crimes committed.

It is said that on February 4, 2017 the 2006 Miss Tanzania alongside the co-accused was found in possession of rolls of bhang at Kunduchi Ununio and in her defense, the model said that much as the bhang rolls were found in her house, she did not know the owner.

"I must confess it was a hard one! But we are survivors!! Thank you for the trust and belief in me. Let me Leave the Rest kwa Kesho... Today Let me Celebrate the fact that this Nightmare is Over... No questions asked....!!!," Wema noted on her IG.
