The Kyadondo East legislator was put in a waiting police vehicle and driven to his home in Magere where most of his supporters were patiently waiting. There was heavy deployment along Entebbe road to ensure all was well and that people could go on with their activities. In Kajjansi, there was a road block and those donning red T-shirts with certain words could not go beyond that point. |
Sponsored | On arrival at Magere, Bobi Wine was allowed to say a quick hello to his supporters atop the police white vehicle that had driven him home. Interestingly, a high ranking official of the VIP protection unit helped Bobi Wine to stand on top of the police vehicle to address his supporters. "I was overwhelmed by the masses of people who waited for me at our home in Magere. I can't thank you enough! I am thankful to God for getting me home safe," Bobi Wine noted on his wall. At home, Bobi Wine who still has issues with his legs and therefore cannot walk without a walking stick for now, had a moment with his fans, supporters and family members. His youngest daughter was more than happy to see daddy back as seen from the hug and of course the other children too. The Kyadondo legislator asked his fans to allow him take a nap as he was jet-lagged following the long haul flight. |
