Jahlive Producer, Danz Kumapeesa, is the man behind so many hits rocking airwaves lately. Unfortunately, Danz was hit by thugs about two months back and since then, his condition has been worrying.
Bebe Cool on Monday was at Nsambya hospital checking on the producer behind hits like Winnie Nwagi's Musawo, Magic, Bebe Cool's Mbozi Za Malwa and Rema Namakula's Juice Wa Mango.
Friends, family and fans have been contributing via MTN Mobile Money on Danz Kumapeesa's mom line (Jenipher Kisakye- 0779 10 30 31) and out of the 26million that was required, they were able to raise 8million that includes Bebe Cool's 1million.
Jenipher says Danz is getting better, he can now recognize her, smiles and also tried to move his hand which have all not been possible in the past weeks. However, the more they stay in hospital the more the hospital bill swells.
They've now been advised to go home and simply come for check ups every 3 or 4 days, otherwise, they are currently spending over 700K shillings per day they are in hospital.
Danz Kumapeesa has worked with several artists and among them we have; Lydia Jazmine, Barbaritah, Ykee Benda, Irene Ntale, Ziza Bafana, Sauti Sol, King Saha, Aziz Azion, Desire Luzinda, Chris Evans, Eddy Kenzo, Ray Siganture, Fille, Eddy Kenzo and Spice Diana.
As a way of helping out, Bebe Cool, who is one of the artists that have worked with Danz Kumapeesa has started a campaign of sorts to raise money. The 19million can be got, but the producer will need support even after that now that it will take a bit of time before he can recover fully.
Bebe Cool went on to say;
"Am sure the list below can afford the kind gesture of 5m ugsh about (1500 US dollars).
But we will still appreciate whoever brings in a significant amount at this moment so that Dans can leave the hospital to avoid more bills pilling. It is our responsibility to give back to those who have given us through their sons and daughters .."
