The search for the fairest lady in the land is on and the audition dates have been set. The Miss Uganda 2018 beauty pageant will take place on August 10, 2018 at the Sheraton Hotel in Kampala.
Auditions for North and Western Uganda will take place at 10:00am on June 26th, 2018 at Sheraton followed by Central and Eastern auditions on June 27th 2018.
Ugandan socialite and businesswoman, Zari Hassan, was the first Miss Uganda judge to be unveiled, she doubles as a patron and this was her take;
"Within every woman is the power to create, nurture and transform & I am proud to be a patron and judge of the Miss Uganda 2018. Beauty with purpose is not only the motto for the Miss Uganda foundation, but also a powerful tool for change."
The other judges include; Brenda Nanyonjo of Kezzi Entertainment, Sylvia Wilson Namutebi who won the Miss Uganda 2011, Nana Kagga who happens to be a film producer and CEO of Savanna Moon and last, but not least is Miss Uganda 2013 and Big Brother Africa housemate, Stella Nantumbwe.
Some were wondering why there are no men on the panel of judges claiming that men would have a keen eye on selecting the very best.
