Jamaican-American reggae singer, Omar Riley, who is more popularly known as Tarrus Riley is set to perform in Uganda
The 39 year old member of the Rastafari movement will be the lead act on August 31 at the Swangz All Star Concert that will be held at the cricket oval in Kampala.
Swangz Avenue is an audio and film production house that focuses mostly on music production projects, management of artists and promotions.
Swangz Avenue, which is headed by Julius Kyazze also the Chairman of The Uganda Musicians' Association (TUMA), will be celebrating 10 years in the Uganda Music Industry and Tarrus Riley, the 'Just The Way You Are' star is the man to celebrate with on that day.
Vinka and Winnie Nwagi are Swangz Avenue's top artists after Irene Ntale quit to pursue her solo career.
"The concert is going to go on. Right now I'm on a tour concet in Europe and if I could drive to Africa, I would be there right now. I am coming to Uganda, and I will be giving you great reggae and dance-hall tunes soon soon and very soon," Tarrus confirmed.
