Former NTV Da Beat show host, Douglas Lwanga has for about two weeks now been off telly, he confirmed the news yesterday that he had resigned his job to pursue bigger projects.

Latest info coming in indicates that he is set to join yet another TV station that he will reveal pretty soon as confirmed by Radio Consultant, Joel Isabirye.


"Congratulations Douglas Lwanga upon joining a very big media group and a big television brand. I look forward to watching you live again in a few days.Douglas will announce which location by themselves,great talent."

In his message communicating the news, he thanked his previous employer and told his fans to watch that space;

"The 5years I have been on NTV have been awesome much as the years I spent doing KATOGO on RecordTV. We have done just so much together, won so many Awards, grown a huge fan base, but most importantly, I have been able to witness the continued growth of Ugandan Music and talent something I love to do with passion."

"Never in my life have I ever been fired from a job as some people reported reason being from day one in all companies I have worked, I actually put in 200% in what I do. Passion drives me the most. Those close to me know well.

Sometimes Life has to move on especially if better opportunities arise, that's the only way we grow. It's not a bad thing. Thank you NTV for opening doors for me. It was a wonderful journey and experience. Going forward I will not be hosting the BEAT, " He concluded.

Just a few days back, he was speaking to BBC about the death of fallen singer Moze Radio.
