The Legend Saba Saba concert by Joseph Mayanja aka Chameleone was held on Friday at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

The dad of six hit the stage doing 'Kibok'o, his collaboration song with Khalifa Aganaga followed by 'Hanah', a song that he did with his brother, Pius Mayanja aka Pallaso.

Government Chief Whip, Hon. Ruth Nankabirwa who was also the Chief Guest thanked the fans for turning up in large numbers and supporting the star for the last over 20 years.

The Chief Guest was still addressing the fans and about to launch Radio 4,  a radio station owned by Balaam, who was the Saba Saba event organizer, Chameleone interrupted her speech by switching to his performance.

Other artistes that performed included Leila Kayondo, Papa Cidy, Abdul Mulasi and Ziggy Dee among others.

The Kyadondo East MP Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine also attended, he was invited to the stage, sending the crowd into a wild cheer as he did his Kyarenga hit song.

"It is hard to mention music talent from Uganda and you don't mention Chameleone," Bobi Wine told the thousands of fans that turned up for the Saba Saba concert.

"Chameleone is the cream of Ugandan talent, a living legend that needs to be celebrated now and for many years to come," Bobi Wine added.

Chameleone was yesterday performing in Jinja where the fans braved heavy rains to watch the star do some of his hit songs that include Agatako among others. Tonight, the Wale Wale star will be performing in at Lido Beach in Entebbe.

The Legend Saba Saba shows will resume next Friday in Lyatonde, followed by the AGIP Motel show in Mbarara on Sunday, December 15, 2018 and will wind up with the Tropical Inn Masaka show on Dec 16, 2018.

Following the sold out show at Lugogo Cricket Oval, Chameleone took to his wall and this was what he noted;

"Thank all my people for supporting me for two decades. But majorly, thank you for sparing your precious time to party with me last night."
