Rayvanny and Diamond Platnumz doing their thing in the Tetema video
Tanzania's Bongo stars, Diamond Platnumz and Raymond Shaban aka Rayvanny have released their best club banger dubbed Tetema.
The song was released two weeks after BASATA, the entertainment regulator lifted their ban that stopped them from performing in and outside Tanzania.
This was after they performed 'Mwanza', a song that had been banned. 'Tetema' has close to 3 Million views in just four days.
'Salome' was their very first hit and in a typical Diamond Platnumz's way of doing things, Hamisa Mobetto was the video vixen and from that time on, it was not long before a child was born out of that reunion.

'Iyena' was the next hit that these two worked on and the theme and concept in the video were of a wedding set up between Diamond Platnumz and Zari Hassan, unfortunately, it was released at the time when their relationship was faced with the toughest of times brought about by Hamisa's child.
Then came 'Mwanza' a song he said was inspired by a social event held in Uganda dubbed 'Nyege Nyege', this was banned outrightly by the authorities in TZ claiming the lyrics were not ideal. During the Wasafi Festival in Kenya, the duo performed the banned Mwanza song that led the authorities to slap them with a ban.
BASATA later lifted the ban and as a way of celebrating the milestone, the two hit studio and Tetema, another hit is what is coming out of the Wasafi boys. Tanasha is doing everything in her means to promote the song as the fans are pacing up with the Tetema dance which is a mixture of Shaku Shaku and rope jumping.
