Tumusiime Catherine aka Kapa Cat
Tumusiime Catherine going by her stage name Kapa Cat is a dance-hall artist who started her professional career in November 2018.
Her stage name is derived from the short form of Catherine to get Cathy then Cat that was later translated to the Luganda version of Kapa. The two words were joined to cater for both the local and urban fans, thus Kapa Cat.

Kapa Cat's current hit song is Sikyo which is among the songs she performed at the recent Comedy Store hosted by Alex Muhangi.
She is a Makerere University graduate with a Bachelor of Library and Information Science, graduated last year in November. Her gigantic floral tat on the left thigh greatly influences her fashion sense.
Kapa Cat has two albums to her name.
Asked if Queen Bella is her role model now that she sounds like her.
"Not in any way that I think of... We are totally different. However, I am inspired by everyone with a creative mind."
There's something about Kapa Cat's Sikyo song that every time it is performed, it sounds different because she is always asking her fans on the issues at hand and they respond on whether Kyekyo (Yes) or Sikyo (No), it has a tendency of having different lyrics depending on the audience, timing and location.
Sheila Gashumba was trending the whole of last week, courtesy of Amanda's allegations and that is what Kapa Cat featured in the song. Sheebah Karungi is in love with the Sikyo hit song.
