AliKiba to speak out on why he will not show up for the Wasafi Festival. Inset, AliKiba seems to be excited after hitting a jackpot and Diamond Platnumz on a recent trip to Rwanda.
The rivalry between the top Tanzanian Bongo stars Diamond Platnumz and Ali Kiba continues as the latter is all set to make an announcement which is likely to do with his recent invite to perform at the Wasafi Festival, an invite that he declined.
It all started with the Wasafi festival presser that Diamond Platnumz held and during that press conference, a journalist asked if AliKiba was going to perform.
In his response, Diamond said that there was no need for squabbles, AliKiba was free to perform at the Wasafi Festival that takes place on November 9 at Postal Grounds Kijitonyama.
WizKid, Tiwa Savage and Professor Jay are some of the artists that are set to perform at the Wasafi Festival.
AliKiba took to Instagram to disassociate himself from the Wasafi Festival by telling the Baba Lao singer that he was back to cheap politics.
"You stole my pencil and now you are pretending to help me look for it. Don't push me to expose you because if I do, no one will attend your festival, I wish you the best in your festival," AliKiba noted.

The pencil statement left a lot to be desired that many were demanding to know the reason behind such a statement for someone that had extended an olive branch, but he declined to dwell on that, however, he has now changed his mind and will address the issue.
King Kiba has now invited all media houses for a presser at Ramada Hotel, today (Nov 8) at 6pm to address a few issues which of course has a lot to do with his not performing at the Wasafi Festival tomorrow.
The Wasafi Team through Diamond Platnumz's manager, Babu Tale, reached out to AliKiba asking him to be part of the Wasafi Festival citing that even Harmonize who recently parted ways with the Wasafi Crew was going to perform.

By inviting AliKiba, we were doing it for the good of the industry, it is no wonder that Nigeria is way better off.
"These things are not personal, no wonder Nigerians are going far. We should not accept to be split apart by people who just want to hate. By doing that, we are killing the industry," Babu Tale added.
AliKiba is not taking any of that, it is now left to be seen what he will say later in the day at the Ramada hotel presser.
Other artists to perform at the Wasafi Festival include; Meddy from Rwanda, Gigy Money, Chidi Benz, Jux, Nyandu Tozi, Sholo Mwamba, Ferroz and Rayvanny.
