Star singer Jose Chameleone real name Joseph Mayanja turned 40 yesterday and his wife, Daniella Atim Mayanja, had the best message;

"Happy birthday Tata Wa’baana, May this new age be the beginning of a manifestation of God’s never ending blessings to you, the children and I wish you lots of good health and we send you lots of love, am sure you are going to enjoy your day."

As part of his birthday celebrations, he took off time to go and visit fellow singer and legislator, Bobi Wine, who was remanded to Luzira Prison for holding an unlawful assembly.

While there, they were told that to visit Bobi Wine, one needed special clearance, so Chameleone together with the Lord Mayor and others were denied a chance to see him.

The dad of six at 40 is celebrating 20 years in the music industry and he attributes all this to God and his fans who have supported him all this while.

Speaking to MC Kats of NBS After5, Chameleone said that he has always believed in himself recalling of how he only wanted to have one song, but he is such a big brand with so many songs to his name, children, a beautiful wife, posh rides, a house in the US and now trying to give a shot at the slot of Lord Mayor.

Chameleone adds that his worst part in his musical journey was the Tanzanian accident way back in 2008 when he broke his leg.

"I had declined to go because they were paying me peanuts, but Daniella told me to go and perform for my fans that were patiently waiting in Tanzania. I went and in the night, I sleep walked from my room on the first floor to the ground floor breaking my legs in the process. I thought that was the end of my career, but God is great."
