Fik Fameica's My Journey concert was fairly attendedDecember 16, 2018, 10:16 PM @ugandaonline Fik Fameica sharing his musical journey with his fans at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds Shaffik Walukagga aka Fik Fameica was on Friday not a very happy man after Kyadondo Rugby Grounds failed to fill up with fans that wanted to hear his journey story. The My Woman is My Property star held his 'My Journey concert' at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds, but the turn up was not as huge compared to the last three concerts that include; Turn the Replay by Levixone, Omwooyo concert by Sheebah Karungi and Chameleone's Saba Saba concerts which were all successful. The patrons that came through were roughly below 500 for his second concert this year. The organizers had hoped that the numbers could increase, but by 8:45 PM, they rolled with the first artists doing their thing followed by Fille, Gravity Omutujju and YKee Benda among others. The Tonsukuma singer hit the stage at exactly 11PM performing his Pistol song followed by 'Mbega Wa Bala' and Mutuwulira before taking a break. |

The stage and lighting were on point and so was his performance, and the dancers equally did a good job. Concerts in the Central Business District do not go beyond midnight, so after an hour's performance, Shaffic was done, he thanked his fans for turning up in what he called a good turn up. "Thanks my fans for making it a full house and big thanks to fellow artists, DJ's. MCs and media that were part of my journey concert." Meanwhile, many have been left wondering what could have happened to this hit maker with lyrics that appeal to most students who are currently on holiday, but then again, they were quick to add that the amount which was charged for entry was a bit high at the time when many are putting funds aside for the festive season. |
