Vivienne Mbuga trying out the Ferrari ride which hubby SK Mbuga bought as one of the bridal cars
Days after extraditing her husband to Denmark, Vivienne Angela Chebet has equally been arrested by authorities here in Uganda.
Socialite SK Mbuga had for the last one year been detained at Al Awiir Central Prison in Dubai, and just a few days back, he was relocated to Denmark where he has more fraud related charges to answer. The amount in question is 9.5Billion.
In Dubai, the condition for his release was for him to clear close to Shs1.6Billion and when he did, unfortunately, more cases were pending so as opposed to deporting him to Uganda, he was extradited to Denmark not forgetting that he has another case of the equivalent of Shs23Billion in a Sweden court.
Some of his properties back home and posh rides, a Ferrari and Rolls Royce had to be sold to raise the amount that led to his being released from UAE.

It is said that before SK Mbuga was arrested in UAE, Sweden had requested that Uganda hands over the socialite to answer to charges that had been filed there by Sten Heinsoo who lost Shs 23Billion in a botched gold deal.
To sort out some of these problems, his hospital that was under construction and other properties are on sale for him to raise money now that he has been under custody for over a year, they need money and selling off some of these properties is one sure way of raising funds at short notice.
It should be recalled that Vivienne, a Sweden national was having an affair with Sten Heinsoo, she later introduced him to her business associate, SK Mbuga, who was to execute a gold deal that was worth billions of shillings.
The money was wired to Uganda on three local accounts belonging to SK Mbuga, Vivienne and another account as confirmed by a top police boss in Uganda, Vincent Sekatte.
On receiving the money, the couple went on a spending spree that included buying posh rides (Rolls Royce and a Ferrari) that have since been sold and their 5Billion wedding that lasted for one week.

It was then that Heinsoo realized that he was duped thus filing a case of fraud. Vivienne was arrested in Sweden, but released on bail, she later came back to Uganda, where she has been until her arrest early in the week. It is not clear if Ugandan authorities will hand her to Sweden.
