Winnie Nwagi has been forced to apologize following her performance at SMACK last Saturday

Swangz Avenue signed artist, Winnie Nwagi, was summoned by  the Pornographic Control Committee (PCC) following her performance at St. Mary's College Kisubi on July 13, 2019 that was deemed indecent.

In a letter dated July 19, 2019 from the Office of the President - Directorate of Ethics and Integrity (DEI), it reads in part;

"The PCC has noted with concern that the indecent dancing/exhibition you conducted at St. Mary's College Kisubo was tantamount to a pornographic representation to an audience of largely children which is in contravention of the law."

The 'Fire Dancer' singer is seen dancing with one young man in a provocative way while her queen dancers are equally harassing some students, in some instances bending over and also lifting their legs in ways that left a lot to be desired.

The singer who turned 30 on July 20 was told to apologize and promise that it will be the last time she is dancing like that  especially before children who are below the age of 18.

Present in the meeting was the PCC Chairperson Dr. Annette Kezaabu Kasimbazi plus two other officials from the Directorate of Ethics and Integrity (DEI).

"I therefore to undertake to refrain from any further pornographic shows as prohibited under the law, failure of which will result into further action being taken against me, up to and including prosecution and imprisonment," Nwagi noted in her apology.

"We apologize to the general public, parents of the students in attendance and the school administration," a source from Swangz Avenue noted.

"I always try to keep my fans entertained and sometimes I go overboard and my SMACK performance was one of those. I should have done better and to all offended parties, am sorry."

The mom of one concludes;

"I and my team are committed to always offer value to clients within the limits of the allowed moral standards and shall always remind ourselves of that, Thank You."
