Diamond Platnumz on arrival in Nairobi and on the right is Stonebwoy and Yemi Alade at NTV Kenya
The Tomorrow's LEADERS Festival was held yesterday in Nairobi at Kasarani Stadium with Morgan Heritage as the lead acts alongside other artistes that include our very own Chameleone, Ghana's Stonebwoy, Kenya's Wyre, Jua Cali, Alaine from Jamaica, Yemi Alade, and Diamond Platnumz among others.
The Theme for the event was; "If we lead, the youth will follow."
One thing that left the revelers disturbed was the fact that Diamond Platnumz never performed and yet he was in town.
Word on the social radar has it that he fell sick due to the Nairobi weather.
On their page, Morgan Heritage informed the fans that the lion had landed.
"It’s time to let the blessings flow DIAMOND PLATNUMZ HAS LANDED."
Another artist who was a no show on stage was none other than the Woman of Steel, Nigeria's Yemi Alade.
The Naija star was having interviews from one station to the other hyping up her upcoming album and this went on till late, to be exact, at about 1:00 AM, we are not sure if this could have contributed to her not performing, she is yet to issue a statement.
As for Diamond Platnumz, before this, he was very busy in Kahama and Geita towns of Tanzania, where he performed all by himself at the One Man One Mic shows for five hours none stop, you could not miss the excitement on him something which music pundits say is likely to have affected him, thus failing to perform for his CURRENT in-laws.
Unconfirmed reports have it that his intelligence had landed on info that the Kenyan in-laws (fans) were to force him to come clear on when he will marry their gal, Tanasha Donna, so he decided not to appear on stage at all, he is also yet to issue a statement, though for now, he has just released his Inama (Bend Over) video which had over 7k likes in just one hour.
Short of that, the show that aims at raising funds for youth development programs in Africa and Jamaica went on very well, gates were open at 12:00 PM and performances kicked off at 12:00 AM.
Stonebwoy hit the stage followed by Chameleone and Alaine in that order. Morgan Heritage had to wind up the night doing hits like 'Don't Haffi Dread' Tell Me How Come and Pay Attention.
