Isaac Katende aka Kasuku and Urban TV's Tina Fierce real name Christine Karungi are the latest recruits to Sanyu FM after all presenters were fired following a sit down strike.

The strike was in protest of a 25% pay cut due to the COVID-19 situation. The two join Patrick Idringi aka Salvador who replaced Fatboy for the morning show.
Tina and Kasuku's Hot 8 at 8 program will be airing from Monday to Friday starting 5PM to 8PM.
Sanyu FM listeners are having to deal with all these changes that are happening pretty fast. In the same vein, even the fired staff say they did not have the chance to thank their fans who have been loyal to them for all the years.
"It all happened very fast, I did not have the chance to thank my fans who had listened to me all the years. Our bosses told us to stop working, then the overall bosses (owners) fired us for absconding from duty. It is not true that I led the staff to strike," Fatboy told Kasuku in an interview at 93.3 KFM on Friday.
Kasuku by this morning, he was still at his Dembe FM morning job.
In a related development, Tina Fierce on her Scoop on Scoop show said that the Sanyu FM staff that were reluctant to reapply for their jobs were making a big mistake especially during these times of COVID.
"Most companies are reluctant to hire because everyone has been hit by the COVID situation, we also suffered a 40% percent cut, but I'm here working," Tina said.
"Fatboy owns the Nyege Nyege grounds in Jinja, he has been the most paid presenter at the Radio station, he has worked for 21 years, so he is good to go, " Tina concluded.
