COVID-19 confirmed cases in Uganda close to 5K

The Ministry of Health confirmed today(Sep 13) that there are ninety six (96) additional confirmed cases of COVID-19.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases to four thousand seven hundred ninety nine (4,799).

Covid19 cases in Uganda by September 13, 2020. Six people have died in the last two days.
Three (3) deaths were registered from Kampala bringing the total number of deaths to fifty five (55).
The breakdown of the new cases is from the following locations;
88 Contacts and alerts:
Kampala thirty three (33), Buikwe twenty eight (28), Jinja four (4), Soroti four (4), Lira three (3), Kibuku two (2), Mbarara two (2), Terego two (2), Tororo two (2), Amolatar one (1), Arua one (1), Iganga one (1), Masindi one (1), Ngora one (1), Moroto one (1), Pader one (1), Wakiso one (1).
The other eight (8) include a returnee from DRC and seven (7) truck drivers, three (3) from Malaba, two (2) from Bunagana and two (2) from Elegu.
A total of two thousand two hundred fifty six (2,256) have recovered.
A total of three thousand three hundred fifty (3,350) samples were tested out of which, four hundred thirteen (413) were Point of Entry samples while the two thousand nine hundred thirty seven (2,937) were from contacts and alerts.
