Douglas Lwanga missing his Purple Party following the lockdown
"Dear Mr. President I was saying... I Miss Purple Party."
Clad in a black T-shirt with the 'I Miss Purple Party' wordings, Douglas used the moment to express how badly he was missing on minting the Purple money from the various parties that always had several artists performing.
The parties had now been rolled out to several parts of the country like Hoima, Mbale, Jinja and of course Kampala.
Following his remark I was saying remark, the fans have also given their views, some are siding with him, while others have urged him to emulate the recently concluded Uganda Peace and Loving online concert or better still offer a free one as a way of giving back to the fans.
These were some of the responses;
"But people's health matters, bro."
"Are you more valuable than private school teachers who have not gotten a penny for almost 8 months?"
