Five days back, the ‘Touch my Body’ singer, Rema Namakula also Eddy Kenzo’s baby mama was just in the mood of showing off her vintage handbag at the time when the vast majority were tweeting about the Kyadondo legislator, Bobi Wine. Most female artists on Sunday paid Barbie a courtesy visit where they gave her an assortment of items, Rema was among them.

Others included; Juliana Kanyomozi, Spice Diana who was equally bashed for slaying at the wrong time and place as she was just posing for pics. During their visit, Rema took Barbie on the sides and demanded to know exactly what was going on. Barbie took her through her ordeal based on the last visit. On coming back from Magere, Rema just took to her Instagram and stood with the rest on the issue of Bobi Wine; "

"This morning I got a chance to have a one-on-one with Barbie and personally, I prefer first-hand information before taking any action and that's my principle."

"Well..fellow Ugandans and the rest of the world, this is what I kindly ask of you...Let’s pray for Bobi Wine, nothing can beat the power of prayer and the rest will follow. Bobi Wine, we stand with you #freeBobiWine."

Yesterday, more artists converged at Calendar Restaurant in Makindye where they all called for the release of the singer cum politician.

Meanwhile, a church service to pray for Bobi Wine has been arranged for tomorrow (Wed 22 Apr) at Rubaga Cathedral, the very church where his wedding was held almost seven years back.

In less than a week, Bobi and Barbie will be celebrating their wedding anniversary; the two were wedded at Rubaga Cathedral Kampala church on August 27 2011. Bobi Wine is expected to be seen by his doctor tomorrow and on the 23 August 2018, the legislator will be out just in time to celebrate his wedding anniversary.
