The Fire Dancer, singer, Winnie Nwagi, has taken up boxing lessons to boost her defense skills just in case she is caught up in one of those situations where she has to defend herself.

Looking at Nakanwagi doing her thing, you can clearly tell that she has gone way beyond the basic skills of boxing just by the way she dodges punches.

This type of training is equally good for her dance strokes as boxing provides upper body strength, leg strength and also a cardiovascular workout.

Winnie Nwagi has been in the news after she beat up her maid for having used her water bottle, she later reported to police and was released on police bond.

She later paid the maid Shs 1Million for treatment and hospital bills plus compensation for her items that got damaged during the scuffle.

Winnie Nwagi has two collaboration songs out there. 'Bwogana' that she did with Recho Rey and 'Amaaso' with Vinka are the songs, though the past weeks have not been easy for her as she was having issues with her maid, but now that it is all behind her, she will be pushing the songs.

The Swangz Avenue signed artist had even blocked her comments section on Instagram for most of her posts as most of her fans were constantly referring to her beating the maid and yet all she wanted was feedback on her just released songs.

Winnie Nwagi will be performing live at Swing Inn Motel Ishaka on Oct 5 as the hangout celebrates 10 years in the business.
