Jack Pemba and some of hi posh rides

Court bailiffs raided Jack Pemba's 'Buckingham Palace' to attach some of these posh rides, but were shocked to find none

Court bailiffs yesterday raided Jack Pemba’s home to attach valuables that include his posh rides that were nowhere to be seen.

Just around this time last year, socialite Jack Pemba was all over after buying himself the latest Lexus LX 570 that he bought at close to Shs700m, he customized it with 'SIR PEMBA' reg plates.

This was a move he made to make his presence felt among the loaded A-listers of Kampala at the time when he was believed by many to have run broke.

He went on to show off the ‘Buckingham Palace Pemba’ home, which turned out to be a rented home. The bailiffs were equally interested in the house, but it turned out to be a rented residence.

Unfortunately, he had borrowed $200,000 from businessman Godfrey Kirumira after staking three of his posh rides that include; Land Cruiser (MR PEMBA), a Range Rover (Only1 JP) and a Hummer H3 as collateral.

Pemba was required to pay back $300K, but he refused, claiming that his cars were being driven as opposed to being parked so they had depreciated in value.

The two have been in the Commercial Court over the matter.

Godfrey Kirumira's son Gideon had this to say after the raid on Pemba's home;

"They came and borrowed money from us and his wife was the witness claiming that Pemba will pay, but they are all nowhere to be seen and they don't pick our calls."

"We later caught up with him and he agreed to pay in installments and the first installment of US$40,000 was due by November last year, leaving court with no choice, but to ask us attach some properties that include cars (Lexus and Audi), sewing machines and chairs among others."

Jack Pemba sponsored the Abryanz awards

The Pemba Sports Africa CEO was one of the Sponsors for the 2017 ABRYANZ Style and Fashion Awards, where he gave out Shs100m.

Unfortunately, when the bailiffs got to 'Buckingham Palace Pemba', he had removed most valuables, including the posh rides; they only got a few leather seats.

"We need our money that is close to 900Million," Gideon added.

The posh rides the were used as collateral when Jack Pemba was borrowing the $200K
