Geosteady has now changed his name from George to Hassan.  Asked on why he had to take this direction, Prima Kadarsh's ex lover and baby daddy said that he was born a Muslim and it has always been flowing in his blood.

This development is coming five months after Geosteady split bitterly with his baby mama, it is not clear if he has replaced her with a Muslim woman and this was one of the conditions for things to work out between them.

Now that the Muslim faith allows one to have at least four wives provided they are taken good care of, Geosteady could soon be a Hajji of four wives.

Geosteady is not the first artist to convert to Islam, though most of them ended up backtracking.

Omulangira Suuna converted to Islam and changed his name to Abdul Shakur, he also performed some hit songs praising the religion, but after five years, he went back to being the Catholic he was.

Chameleone also converted to Islam, calling himself as Jaffar Gadafi, but the pressure was way too much that the Bayuda singer had to denounce the religion.

In the case of Omulangira Ssuna, he was dating a Muslim woman and that was the condition to win her love while for Chameleone, word on the street was that he wanted to appear in the headlines after Bobi Wine's wedding had dominated that space.
