Tornado Bee Maintain Perfect Record as Wanderers Dominate Silver Division

Tornado Bee remains unbeaten in the Cricket Uganda Men’s 50-Over National League 2026 Gold Division after a comfortable six-wicket win against Mukono Warriors at Lugogo Oval. Mukono Warriors batted first and reached 161, driven by Het Pindoria’s 52 and Kalpesh Jeshani’s rapid 64 off 24 balls. Tornado Bee’s bowlers, featuring Suleman Sharif (3/24) and Aziz Tandia (3/9), kept the score manageable.

Roger Mukasa Galiwango starred in the chase with an unbeaten 103 off 69 balls, including 11 fours and five sixes, guiding his team home with a ball to spare. The former Cricket Cranes opener, now coaching Uganda Emerging, expressed satisfaction with his form, aiming to keep contributing to wins.

In other Gold Division matches, Rounders chased down Aboojo’s 192 for a six-wicket victory, led by Paul Mulongo (49*) and Richard Sohera (31*). Defending champions Kutchi Tigers beat Ceylon Lions by four wickets.

Wanderers shone in the Silver Division, posting 278 against Nile and bowling them out for 113 to win by 165 runs. Key contributions came from Hitesh Prajapti (41), Edgar Mudoola (41), and Daniel Muhumuza (47), with Eric Mukisa taking 3/36. Kutchi Tigers B demolished St. John’s SS by 239 runs, dismissing them for 49 after scoring 288.

Bronze Division saw Tornado triumph over Mukono Development by 102 runs, with captain Lawrence Ssempijja scoring 80, and Centurion easily chase Jinja SS’s 61 in 8.5 overs.

These results after three matchdays highlight emerging leaders in each division.
