The Kyabazinga of Busoga, William Nadiope Gabula IV, has issued a powerful Easter message urging his subjects and all Ugandans to prioritize unity, moral renewal, resilience, and diligence.
Delivered via the kingdom’s social media by Minister for Kyabazinga Affairs Yudaya Babirye, the message highlights Easter’s core values of hope, endurance, and purpose amid hardships.
“Even in times of suffering, perseverance leads to victory,” the Kyabazinga stated, calling for collaborative action from families and leaders to combat moral decay, ignorance, and poverty starting at home.
He stressed the role of Christian leaders in protecting children through their teachings and urged parents, particularly fathers, to instill strong moral values for a resilient society.
The monarch commended grassroots efforts like the Village Empango committees under the ‘ABASAADHA N’EMPANGO’ program. These initiatives conduct door-to-door outreach to fight teenage pregnancies, enhance food security, improve school retention, and reduce poverty in Busoga.
Kyabazinga praised community leaders stepping up to transform local challenges, embodying true leadership and commitment.
He encouraged steadfast faith and collective purpose to build a morally upright and economically strong Busoga.
