Pirates Edge Nondescripts to Reach Enterprise Cup Final

Black Pirates RFC delivered a gritty performance to defeat record 25-time champions Nondescripts 20-17 in the Enterprise Cup semifinals, earning a spot in the final.
William Nkore opened the scoring with a penalty kick after a strong restart and defensive stretch, putting Pirates ahead 3-0. Nondescripts leveled through Kelvin Keunda’s penalty before capitalizing on Pirates’ errors for a try by Tonny Fidems, leading 10-3.
Pirates hit back swiftly, with Jeremiah Okello scoring in the corner to tie the game at halftime, Nkore converting.
In the second half, Alex Aturinda’s try gave Pirates the lead, and they maintained pressure despite a late response from Nondescripts’ Elisha Kokonya. Coach Marvin Odong’s substitutions bolstered the defense to secure the win.
Pirates will now take on Kabras Sugar, who beat Menengai Oilers 29-20, in the final on May 30 at Kings Park Arena, Bweyogerere.
