The StarTimes Uganda Premier League title race heats up as SC Villa prepares for a blockbuster encounter with Vipers. Fourth-placed Villa, now on 44 points, gained momentum with a 1-0 win over KCCA at Kadiba Stadium on Saturday.
Hassan Mubiru scored the decisive goal just before the hour mark against his former club, showcasing Villa’s tactical edge under coach Zeljko Kovacevic. This result closed the gap to third-placed KCCA, who sit on 45 points, and highlighted KCCA’s struggles amid a tough upcoming schedule.
