The “Invest in Uganda” theme is front and center at the Uganda-Egypt Investment Forum currently underway in Cairo, Egypt. A significant Ugandan delegation, comprising prominent investors, business leaders, and government officials, is present to promote the East African nation as an prime destination for business and investment.
The delegation is spearheaded by the State Minister for International Relations, Henry Okello Oryem, with the Egyptian High Commissioner to Uganda, Amb. Karim Shefiff, also in attendance.
Key players from the Uganda Investment Authority, including Chief Internal Auditor John Bwambale and Investment Executive Lilian Nansubuga, have presented a portfolio of 20 investor-ready projects. These projects have reportedly garnered considerable interest and positive feedback from potential Egyptian investors.
