Colin Luswata, who introduced Uganda’s first golf simulation hub a year ago, has now transformed the Kampala Golf Centre (KGC) into the country’s inaugural rooftop golf destination. Located atop Capital Shoppers in Ntinda, the upgraded facility combines sport, business networking, and leisure in a premium setting.

The new space boasts three multi-purpose simulator bays that can also function as gaming or bowling areas, offering immersive training with data-driven precision. Luswata, drawing from experiences in the UK, oversaw the setup to match global standards.

Beyond golf practice, KGC includes a fully stocked pro shop with top international brands and a creative putting arena for fun skill-building. The ‘19th hole’ serves as a stylish bar and networking hub for discussions on business, politics, and more.

This weekend’s invitation-only soft opening welcomes over 200 guests from Uganda’s corporate and golfing elite. They will enjoy three days of swinging, sipping, and socializing, led by Luswata and his team of five trained professionals.

Annual memberships, starting around $400 to $700, target individuals, families, corporates, and juniors. Luswata emphasizes growing the sport, having already introduced 15 new players who joined clubs like Uganda Golf Club. Through partnerships with the Uganda Golf Union, KGC lowers barriers for beginners while sharpening skills for pros.

Key features include Uganda’s first rooftop golf sim hub, elite networking spaces, and a prime Ntinda location, making golf more accessible in a bustling city.
