Many people experience nagging tooth pain without knowing it might be pulpitis, a condition where the soft pulp inside the tooth becomes inflamed due to decay or injury.

This inflammation can lead to sharp or throbbing discomfort, especially when consuming hot, cold, or sweet foods. Early dental intervention is crucial to prevent it from progressing to more serious issues like abscesses.

The good news is that pulpitis is largely preventable. Maintaining excellent oral hygiene is essential, including brushing twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, flossing to remove plaque between teeth, and using mouthwash for added protection.

Regular dental check-ups also help catch potential problems early. By adopting these habits, you can significantly reduce your risk of developing pulpitis and keep your smile healthy.
