The Premier League title race is heating up, with Arsenal poised to turn the tables on Manchester City. After trailing by 10 points earlier, City claimed a 2-1 win over Arsenal on April 29 at the Etihad, ending the Gunners’ time at the summit since October.

Arsenal bounced back with a 1-0 victory against Newcastle United while City focused on their FA Cup semi-final. This Saturday, Mikel Arteta’s side hosts Fulham, while City faces Everton on Monday.

A win for Arsenal would restore a six-point lead, testing City’s resolve despite their two games in hand. Opta analysts still favor Arsenal to finish top, but Fulham, sitting 10th and chasing Europe, could capitalize on Arsenal’s midweek Champions League draw with Atletico Madrid.

Fulham’s Josh King vowed to play fearlessly, though they’ve never won in 32 away games against Arsenal. City boasts a strong record at Everton, unbeaten in 18 visits.

Relegation nerves are also high. West Ham can extend a five-point gap over Tottenham with a win at Brentford, leaving Spurs to face Aston Villa. Leeds host relegated Burnley on Friday, where a victory would nearly secure safety.

As Alex Ferguson famously said, it’s ‘squeaky bum’ time at both ends of the table.
