The adjustments, announced via a statement from prisons spokesperson Senior Commissioner Frank Baine Mayanja, encompass new appointments, transfers, and leave arrangements. These moves aim to enhance operational efficiency and uphold high standards within the service.

Several officers are proceeding on leave, such as Barbra Busingye from OC Iganga and Hussein Musoke, while others like Stella Salume Atoo have resumed duties at PATS. Multiple personnel, including Ivan Nuwagaba and ASP Kennedy Odyek Opio, are attending courses.

The reshuffle takes immediate effect, and all regional and district prison commanders must facilitate orderly handovers for seamless transitions.
