Ugandan comedian Reign has made it clear he will not entertain President Yoweri Museveni or Chief of Defence Forces Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
In a recent TV interview, he explained that aligning with NRM leaders contradicts his principles and risks alienating his fanbase.
‘I won’t perform for Museveni or even Muhoozi. It would betray my supporters and make me unhappy with myself,’ Reign stated.
He shared that he previously declined a gig at one of Muhoozi’s birthday celebrations by demanding a Shs1 billion fee, prompting the promoter to back out.
This stance underscores Reign’s commitment to his beliefs amid Uganda’s political landscape.
