Humphrey Kiingi, popularly known as Hum Kay, hosted a heartfelt Friends and Family Reunion Dinner at Kampala Kolping Hotel. The event doubled as a launchpad for fundraising toward his Worship Academy vision.

Guests, including Isaac Mubezi who traveled from Iganga, shared testimonials lauding Hum Kay’s unwavering consistency in worship and ministry over two decades. Mubezi described him as more than a friend—a brother in faith.

Media personality Nicholas Nyombi, emcee and Viga Awards founder, kicked off the evening with humor before highlighting Hum Kay’s unique anointing on the microphone.

Clergy members like Noah Ssematimba, Charles Tumwine, Makumbi, and Morris Bukenya affirmed his journey of faith and dedication. Hum Kay, reflecting humbly, called the gathering a ‘vote of confidence from heaven’ and recalled a youthful prophecy about his worship calling.

Central to the night was the reveal of 10 Feet Ministries International, home to the Ten Feet Worship Academy. This initiative aims to mentor spiritually rooted, skilled worshippers with cultural authenticity, addressing gaps in guidance for gifted talents.

Hum Kay emphasized Uganda’s unique sound that the world needs to hear. The fundraiser surged with support, led by Bishop Bukenya and his wife, who topped contributions and received a featured art piece.

From his start in a Jinja church choir, Hum Kay has evolved into a pastor, teacher, and gospel music influencer, now building a lasting legacy.
