The Sound Beyond Words concert at the Africa Institute of Music turned into a rhythmic celebration, starting with the powerful beats of the Ngoma Ya Mungu troupe.
Traditional drum patterns from regions like Bunyoro, Toro, Busoga, and Buganda filled the air. Some audience members recognized the familiar sounds instantly, while others discovered them for the first time. Soon, everyone was swept up in the energy.
