Ugandan dancehall star Mudra has broken his silence on the intensifying feud with ‘Hozambe’ singer Da Star, stating he remains out of pocket from their collaborative track.

The conflict heated up when Da Star publicly claimed Mudra was holding back payments, alleging the song raked in over UGX 100 million in royalties.

Mudra hit back, rejecting the claims and explaining his decision to remove the video from YouTube. ‘I haven’t recovered my investment yet. I reached out to sort it, but got no reply. They called me a thief, so I took it down,’ he shared during a TV interview.

Reconciliation efforts have stalled, with communication between the artists completely broken.

Fans are glued to the drama as the dispute between the two continues to unfold.
