Manchester City maintained pressure on Premier League leaders Arsenal with a decisive 3-0 win against Brentford on Saturday. The victory, fueled by second-half goals from Jeremy Doku, Erling Haaland, and an injury-time strike, brings City within two points of the top spot with only three games left.

City now sits on 74 points from 35 matches. However, a recent draw against Everton means their title aspirations depend on Arsenal dropping points in their upcoming fixtures. Arsenal is set to face West Ham United on Sunday.

Despite dominating possession for much of the match at The Etihad, City was initially frustrated by Brentford’s solid defense. The deadlock was broken around the hour mark when Jeremy Doku showcased skill, cutting in from the left flank and curling a precise shot into the top corner.

Erling Haaland extended City’s lead in the 75th minute, tapping in from close range after a scramble in the box. Omar Marmoush sealed the win with a late goal deep into injury time, capping off a relentless league run that has seen City remain unbeaten since January and turned the season’s finale into a thrilling title chase.
