Feffe Bussi Reveals Kapeke Was on the Brink of Quitting Music

Feffe Bussi, a prominent figure in Uganda’s music scene, has offered insights into the challenging journey of up-and-coming artist Kapeke. According to Bussi, Kapeke was once on the verge of abandoning his music career due to the difficulties he faced.

During a recent interview on Galaxy TV, Fefe Bussi recounted Kapeke’s persistent efforts to break into the industry. He humorously recalled Kapeke’s frequent, unannounced visits to his home, during which the aspiring musician sought advice and support, often sharing meals and even watching football matches.

“He used to come to my place unannounced, eat my food, and even come to watch Arsenal games with his friends. Sometimes I would chase some of them away,” Fefe Bussi shared.

The rapper emphasized that these visits occurred during a particularly tough period for Kapeke, who had nearly lost all hope in his pursuit of a music career.

Fefe Bussi expressed pride in Kapeke’s current achievements, noting how his rise to prominence serves as a testament to his perseverance. “When I see him now, I realize God is great. He was almost giving up, but now he has become one of the notable young artistes,” he remarked.

Kapeke has recently garnered significant attention in Uganda’s music landscape, with several of his tracks achieving widespread popularity.
