Alien Skin Returns: Break Was Strategic, Eid Concert Confirmed

After a period of absence from the Ugandan entertainment scene, musician Alien Skin has revealed the reasoning behind his hiatus. The artist claims he intentionally stepped back from releasing new music and performing to cultivate a sense of “scarcity,” believing it would increase demand for his return.

“I took a short break from music so people would miss my work. Now I am back, and I am giving my fans a special gift—a concert on Eid,” Alien Skin stated, indicating that his strategy has been successful in generating buzz.

With his return imminent, the “Ssitabaana” hitmaker has announced a special concert to coincide with the Eid holiday. He anticipates a significant turnout for the event, further emphasizing his belief in the strength of his musical offerings.

Alien Skin also addressed the potential involvement of other artists in his upcoming concert. He expressed indifference to whether fellow musicians attend or support his show, confidently stating that his own extensive catalog of songs is sufficient to fill an entire performance.

“Even if other artists do not come, it is fine. I have so many songs that it would take me more than a whole day to sing them all,” he asserted, highlighting his self-reliance and the depth of his musical repertoire.

Alien Skin continues to be a prominent and often debated figure in Uganda’s music industry, recognized for his dynamic stage presence and a dedicated following.
