Reports have emerged suggesting that the planned music video for the song ‘Cheque,’ a collaboration between established artist Bebe Cool and rising star Joshua Baraka, has been indefinitely postponed. According to veteran media personality Omulangira Ndausi, Bebe Cool had initially agreed to fund and produce the video, having already initiated preparations.

Ndausi, in a recent interview with a local YouTuber, detailed how the project reportedly hit a snag due to Joshua Baraka’s alleged uncooperative attitude. He stated that Bebe Cool was fully committed and had made all necessary arrangements, only to be met with what he described as “games” from Baraka when it came to coordinating the shoot.

“Bebe Cool was ready to invest in that project. He prepared everything and called Joshua Baraka to get ready for the shoot, but Baraka started playing games, and Bebe Cool eventually pulled out,” Ndausi claimed. He further indicated that subsequent attempts to persuade Bebe Cool to reconsider his decision were unsuccessful, as the Gagamel boss had already shifted his attention to other endeavors.

Given Bebe Cool’s withdrawal, Ndausi expressed doubt that the video would be produced as originally envisioned. The song ‘Cheque’ was seen as a significant cross-generational collaboration, and fans had eagerly anticipated a visual representation of the track. Neither Bebe Cool nor Joshua Baraka have officially commented on Ndausi’s assertions.
