Singer Yung Mulo has shed light on his recent health scare, which saw him admitted to the hospital shortly after his traditional kukyala ceremony. Contrary to widespread speculation, Mulo has firmly denied that financial stress was the cause of his collapse.

Instead, the artist explained that his hospitalization was a direct result of severe exhaustion stemming from an intense schedule. He revealed that the weeks leading up to the ceremony involved a relentless cycle of music tours, extensive preparations, and fulfilling family obligations, leaving him with little rest.

“I wasn’t sleeping enough during the period leading up to the ceremony. I was constantly on tour, handling preparations and other commitments,” Mulo stated.

Adding to his fatigue, the singer admitted to pushing his physical limits even further by hitting the gym strenuously shortly after the demanding period. This combination of overwork and intense exercise, he believes, ultimately led to his body shutting down.

Medical professionals reportedly confirmed that his condition was not due to illnesses like malaria but rather acute fatigue.

Yung Mulo also addressed rumors suggesting he incurred debts for the ceremony, laughing them off as typical Ugandan “drama.” He asserted that he does not owe anyone money and that these claims are baseless.

The singer is now in recovery and eager to return to his music career once he has fully regained his strength.
