Sasha Brighton Seeks Forgiveness from Irene Namatovu Over New Eagles Departure

Sasha Brighton, a budding Ugandan artist, has publicly extended an apology to Irene Namatovu, a respected figure in the local music scene. Brighton’s departure from the popular music group, New Eagles, led her to feel she had let down Namatovu, who had been a significant supporter during her early career.

In a recent media interaction, Brighton revealed the depth of her regret, sharing that she physically knelt before Namatovu to express her remorse. This act was a profound gesture to convey her sorrow over the manner of her exit from the band.

Brighton recounted how Namatovu’s belief in her potential was instrumental after she faced disappointment following failed career-launching auditions. “Irene Namatovu believed in me when I lost the auditions and supported me because she saw my potential. When I later left New Eagles, I felt I had disappointed her, so I apologised,” Brighton stated.
