Musician Chozen Blood has shared intimate details about his ongoing healing process, which began five years ago with the death of his mother. He described the difficult period during the COVID-19 lockdown as the catalyst for a significant transformation in his life.
Chozen Blood explained that his grief led him to seek solace and strength through physical fitness. He credits fellow artist Winnie Nwagi for introducing him to Kash Gym, a place where he began to rebuild his confidence and emotional fortitude. “I have been on a healing journey for five years since I lost my mother. During the lockdown, I started working out, and Winnie took me to Kash Gym to build self-resilience, self-love and self-awareness,” he stated.
This period of introspection and self-care has allowed Chozen Blood to re-evaluate his past relationships. He realized that his previous romantic entanglements were often complicated by a lack of personal boundaries and emotional clarity. Consequently, he has made a conscious decision to prioritize his own growth over romantic commitments for the time being.
“For now, it’s hard for me to attach to one person romantically. If I tell you I love only you, then I am lying. That means I am still on a journey of self-love and self-discovery,” the singer confessed. He emphasized that his current focus remains firmly on his personal development, indicating he is not yet ready to fully re-engage in a committed romantic relationship.
