Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and his long-time partner, model and influencer Georgina Rodríguez, have reportedly exchanged vows in a civil ceremony in Portugal.

The couple, who have been together for 10 years, are said to have tied the knot on August 11th in the picturesque coastal town of Cascais, near Lisbon.

Portuguese media has dubbed the event the “wedding of the year,” and reports indicate that their five children were present for the ceremony.

Ronaldo, 39, hinted at the union by posting a photo on Instagram showing two hands, presumed to be his and Rodríguez’s, adorned with wedding rings. The post quickly garnered significant attention, with over 3 million likes within half an hour.

The pair first met a decade ago while Ronaldo was playing for Real Madrid and Rodríguez was working at a Gucci store in Madrid. They announced their engagement on August 11th last year, with Rodríguez sharing a picture of a large ring and expressing her commitment in Spanish.
