Eighton Sente Appeals to Bebe Cool for Financial Aid, Rules Out Rain Reunion

Singer Eighton Sente, formerly of Gagamel International, has publicly reached out to his ex-boss Bebe Cool, requesting financial help. Sente shared that he has been facing financial difficulties and jokingly suggested Bebe Cool, whom he saw enjoying a seemingly prosperous life on social media, should offer some support.

“I just saw him on social media, he is living his best life. Please tell the Gagamel Boss to give me some money; he still has my number. I’m not well,” Sente stated.

Eighton and his former music partner, Rain, were once under Bebe Cool’s management. Their departure from Gagamel was reportedly due to disagreements over earnings, including a specific incident involving a Shs500,000 payment for a New Year’s performance.

However, Sente emphasized that the decision to part ways with Rain was not solely related to their Gagamel days. He explained that their professional relationship as a duo had naturally run its course as they both grew older and developed different life priorities and ambitions.

“I was with Rain when we were still younger. Right now, we are big men and a lot has changed. We got to a point and separated but nothing much happened,” Sente elaborated. He compared the situation to the eventual split of Nigerian twin duo P-Square, questioning the feasibility of sustaining a musical partnership when individual goals diverge significantly.

“If P-Square, the twins that came from the same womb cannot work together, how about us?” he posed. Sente believes that maintaining a duo requires a level of unity that becomes challenging as individuals pursue their own aspirations.

Currently, Eighton Sente appears to be concentrating on his solo career, while also hoping for a positive response to his public appeal for financial assistance from his former mentor. The future of his solo endeavors remains to be seen, with his immediate focus on navigating his current circumstances.
