Brian Makona Shows Promising Recovery After Accident, Nears Discharge

Fans of entertainment presenter Brian “Makona” Ssemanda can breathe a sigh of relief as he shows steady improvement following a severe road accident. Makona was involved in a crash on August 7th in Wakiso District, which led to his admission at Case Hospital in Kampala.

Kin Kariisa, the CEO of Next Media, shared an encouraging update after visiting Makona on August 13th. He reported that the presenter is responding positively to his medical treatment and expressed optimism about his potential discharge soon.

“Just checked on Makona, he’s getting better,” Kariisa posted on X, formerly Twitter. He extended his gratitude to the public for their continued prayers and support during this challenging time. Kariisa also commended the medical staff at Case Hospital for their dedicated care.

“Thank you all for your kind support and prayers. Thanks to the Case Hospital team for their excellent care. He should be home soon,” he added.

The accident, which occurred around 2 am in Namulanda, near Stabex in Wakiso District, had caused considerable concern among Makona’s colleagues, friends, and well-wishers. The latest news of his improving health offers much-needed relief and hope for his return home to continue his recovery.
