According to Ritah, the move was initiated by Sheebah, who advised her to cease performing as a dancer to establish her own identity as a musician.

In a recent interview, Ritah disclosed that Sheebah felt it was crucial for her audience to perceive her seriously as an artist. Continuing to dance for Sheebah, she explained, risked blurring the lines and creating confusion about her primary role.

“She told me that people now have to see me as a serious musician,” Ritah stated. “If I continued dancing for her, it would confuse fans about where I belong, whether I am a dancer or a musician.”

Ritah admitted that the separation was emotionally challenging, even leading her to question her commitment to music. She confessed to Sheebah that she found it difficult to envision performing without being by her side.

However, Sheebah remained firm in her advice, encouraging Ritah to persevere with her musical journey. This support helped Ritah overcome her initial hesitations and embrace the opportunity to carve out her own niche in the music industry.
